This work on paper is part of a series produced from August 2021 on an A3 format.
I start by drawing the lines and circles with a pencil. First there are large construction lines which cross the entire surface of the paper, then other, smaller ones which give rhythm to the whole. One line calls for another, and sometimes calls for a circle. Each layout is intuitive : nothing is decided in advance, I don't make a sketch. The colors chosen are yellow and red, interspersed by flat areas of black and white areas left in reserve.
This work focuses on the rhythm between lines and colors: the surface , shape and color respond to each other and form a plastic and aesthetic whole .
